Great photos guys. Always a joy to look at your pics.
Vern - looking good with a new jacket and sunglasses. I'm not the only one buying new gear I see... LOL
Did you see the alternate ascent route up Romulus that we tried for a couple of years back? I'm still curious if it goes or not... but then again, now I think I'm more apt to try putting a trad route up the face instead of that scree slog. Maybe that will go on the long term project list....

Nice job, guys. King Creek Ridge is one of the best hikes in the area (I've actually done it twice which says a lot). You both got some nice shots of Mount Warspite and the morning clouds. And great write-ups, Vern, especially the Romulus trip. I can't imagine mountain biking in in sub-zero weather, so kudos to you, TJ, Bill, and Kevin.

The clouds in the last photo from the Romulus trip are phenomenal. Great shot Vern and congrats to you and Wietse on both trips.

Thanks for the kind words - and yeah right Sonny! You're the guy who goes for a dip at the end of October, so I'm sure you'd be fine biking in the winter! :-)
JW: We looked at the alternate ascent route from the top and it looked nasty. I think it would be ok if dry, but would not be scrambling if icy or snowy.

Vern - Good writeup and pics as usual.
The final cloud pic on romulus is awesome. Better than a couple hours earlier.
Kevin and I will just have to go back and get the shortcut on some dry calm day next spring.
Overall a good day out(anyday in the mountains) and I have to agree with the quote that TJ found on Grotto.
