The wife and I did this on Saturday. She did very well, but was a little uncomfortable with the final bit up to twin towers, so waited while I quickly tagged it.

There were a couple of helicopters flying very close to the cliffs of Heart and most every other part of he Heart Valley. Seemed like they were doing some sort of Search and Rescue operation.

In the photos http://picasaweb.google.com/icerocksnow/HeartHorseshoeAndTwinTowersExtension# You can also see that the cliff band that has to be negotiated, can be avoided completely by circumnavigating it completely on its East side when descending from Mount Grant McKewan. We ran into a party of seven that turned back at the band because they could not find a safe way down. We down-climbed it right at the the end above the col (class 5 moves) and then re-climbed it on the West side (a little easier). I bought the rope and gear and belayed, which, without it, I doubt we would have continued either.

That's a nice trip out - the extension is really worthwhile. Nice shot looking back the cliff band, too.

Awesome, I've been waiting for that snow to clear. Thanks for posting. Some neat ridge photos there!
